Common Questions
A certified process server is an individual authorized by the state of Georgia to serve legal documents such as summons, complaints, subpoenas, and other court papers. Certification requires completing an accredited training course and passing the state exam administered by the GA JC/AOC.
The course is entirely self-paced, so completion time varies by student. Most students complete the 12 credit hours within 2-4 weeks, but you can take as long as you need. There's no deadline to finish.
Yes. Georgia certified process servers must complete continuing education credits to maintain their active certification. Our Continuing Education course (5 credit hours, $75) fulfills this requirement.
You'll receive your Certificate of Completion by email immediately. You then register with the GA JC/AOC to take the state certification exam ($250 registration fee paid directly to GA JC/AOC).
We do not issue refunds for any of our courses once the course has been issued. Please review the course details carefully before enrolling.
Yes! You have unlimited access to review course materials even after completing the course. This is especially helpful when preparing for the state exam.
